Hey guys!
I've been trying for a while to get a domain that I can freely design and take care of, and I finally did!

That means that I won't be posting in here again unless I have to.
My content and schedule are still the same and everything is still as is, it's just a different website! ☺
What do you think of it? Does it look good? Let me know, and I'll see you there ;)

Race Movie Review
As promised, Friday morning's usual review is here!
As I said in my previous review I went to see Race yesterday and Risen this morning, and as you guessed from the title of the post, I liked Race slightly better. I'll explain why later in the review.
In with the review!
So Race tells the true story (a lot of true story movies this month!) of the insanely fast track and field star Jesse Owens (played by Stephan James). It generally focuses on his journey to the 1936 Olympic games which were held in Berlin, Germany and the games themselves rather than any other part of his life, which is straightforward and doesn't really get you bored with unnecessary events that happened in his life. On his journey, he meets and teams up with Larry Snyder (played by Jason Sudeikis) who helps him out with managing his life and his decisions.
I went in this movie with really low expectations, and frankly it wasn't bad at all. It definitely could have been better, but it did its job well at sending you the message and letting you know who this dude is if you had no idea whatsoever or if you knew who he was and wanted to see his story on the big screen. I'll tell you this, on my way home I wanted to know more about Owens. He overall was just a really intriguing guy and I wanted to know more about him and his life, so I cannot say that the movie didn't make me care about him or like him because then I would be lying.
The acting in this movie was also for the most part good! The two that stand out though are James and Sudeikis. James had the entire movie on his shoulders. If he failed the whole movie would fail, and thankfully he did not. He delivered his lines perfectly and it made you feel for his character. Sudeikis is also someone who I was hoping he would do good as a drama actor, and he did not disappoint me. It's always awesome to see that an actor actually has an acting range and not just sticking to only one genre, and in this movie Sudeikis proves that he does have that acting range and I'm hoping to see him in more dramas! Jason Bateman and Owen Wilson also came out of their comedic comfort zones and did dramatic roles in The Gift and No Escape last year and they were also really good, so I hope more and more comedic actors like these three show us that they have a range (looking at you McCarthy).
However, the movie does suffer from a couple of things. The tone did not match the movie's story at all. You feel like it's a comedy TV show trying to be dramatic, so there was no consistency in the tone whatsoever, and it was something that really bugged me.
Also, the actual games, which are arguably the most important part in the movie, had absolutely no tension. Most of the games that he plays are just like 10 seconds long or less, and I wouldn't blame the director for not building tension because it's such a short time, but one of these events which were also 10 seconds long had me at the edge of my seat and it was one of my favorite moments of the movie, so why wasn't there tension in the other games?
All that being said though, I did overall like the movie, but it's not perfect in anyway except maybe the acting. When I saw Risen though I realized that personally there's a much higher chance of me seeing Race again without it being boring, so that's why I'm reviewing it instead of Risen. I would give 6/10 for both movies.
Quick reviews:
- Risen tells the story (it might also qualify as a true story depending on what you believe in) that by the now we all have it memorized, but it does say it from a totally different perspective of the non-believer Roman military tribune Clavius and I actually liked that so much. However, one of my problems with it is that I know how the story would go, how it unfolds, and how exactly it's going to end, so the entire second and third acts of this movie were, for me, very boring. That being said, if you are a religious person that really loves these stories and would like to see them in a well-made movie, then I would recommend this movie more than Race.
Are you guys excited for these movies? Which movie are you seeing this weekend?! Let me know in the comments below, and if you like this, share it with your friends! ☺

Eddie the Eagle Movie Review
This week's a bit different. I got the chance to see an early screening of this movie which is set for release on February 26th, and I really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd bring my review early to you guys!
Quick side note though, this doesn't affect my review schedule. I'll still see Race and Risen later this week, and I'll be posting my review for it Friday morning for whichever one I like the most.
Second quick side note; I'm reviewing the movie just as a movie. I'm not judging it by how accurate it is to the true events.
Cool? Then in with the review!
Eddie the Eagle tells the true story of the British ski jumper Eddie Edwards (played by Taron Egerton). The movie starts with a brief montage that shows you quickly how was his childhood, and how he got to the idea that he definitely needs to ski jump in the Olympics. He starts his journey to train for the sport but he struggles a lot to accomplish in just one year what others achieved in decades, and who else can help him through his journey but the ex-Olympian Bronson Peary (played by Hugh Jackman)?
Eddie is that 100% optimistic all the time guy. He's still full of life and spirit, but the world still tries to bring him down to his knees and slow him down, and thankfully it doesn't succeed. He's ambitious and an achiever, and you can definitely feel it.
This movie honestly surprised me. There was a lot of bad talk about this movie, including that Eddie himself said that it's not 100% accurate, and also the early reviews and critics about the movie were not so good, but going out of this movie I truly have no idea why.
The movie overall is magnificently good looking! Dexter Fletcher did an amazing job directing this movie. The movie was shot really good. He portrayed the speed greatly when he needed. When Eddie is doing a jump, you really feel the speed in which he going in, and the height that he's jumping as well. He knew when to slow down in the heart-felt moments, and when to pick up the pace when the movie has to go on. That being said though, there were some sudden and abrupt tone changes in the third act that could have been handled better. You'd be watching a scene when you're supposed to feel good and proud for the character, but then a second later something else completely happens, but it doesn't really happen a lot.
The acting in the movie was brilliant. Hugh Jackman did a phenomenal job. I mean what do you expect? He's a Golden Globe winner and an Oscar nominee, and you can definitely tell that he's having absolute fun being in this movie. However, I can't say that he's the star of the movie because honestly Taron Egerton steals every scene he's in. I never really liked anything he was in before Kingsman: The Secret Service, and I did have my doubts about how he'll portray a real-life character, but I'm glad that he proved me wrong, and that he does have some solid acting range. He absolutely nailed it! He brought the good feelings to the audience as well as the bad ones. You could see in his eyes the confidence that he can accomplish his dream even though everyone around him does not belief he can.
The movie also achieves something that is really hard to be done, the tension. When Eddie is trying the 70 meters ski jump for the first time, you can't help but freak out over what's going to happen, and that was only halfway through the movie! The final act had the most tension and suspense, and it definitely worked on me and most of the audience. I wouldn't really call it the most tension-packed movie, but it is there and it is done well.
The only really bad thing about this movie, and I'm not sure if "bad" is the right word, is that it's not a popcorn-flick. It's a movie that makes you feel good, and that is worth the price of the ticket, and not a movie that you would want to see if you just want to pass time.
Guys I just don't know what to say more about this movie. I went in there with very low expectations and I came out completely satisfied. I could not ask for anything else.
If you're expecting an exact depiction of Eddie Edwards' life, it's probably not this movie, but if you want a well-done and very well-acted feel-good movie, give it a chance and it probably won't disappoint. It's a 9.5/10 for me just for these mishandled tonal shifts.
The movie comes out on February 26th guys, and I obviously recommend it.

Deadpool Movie Review (No spoilers)
We've all been waiting for this. We've all wanted it, we've all deserved, and we all got it! The merc with a mouth himself finally got his first movie, and I'm here to talk about it!
Hello by the way, everyone. If you're new here and don't know my system, I weekly go to the movie theater and see all the new releases on their opening night or opening day, then I choose what I liked best of all the movies I saw and I review it. I already saw Zoolander 2 a few hours ago which wasn't really good, and I'm seeing How to be Single tomorrow morning, but there is just no way the later is going to be better than Deadpool.
I also hate spoilers for any movie whatsoever, so I made sure over and over again that I wouldn't give anything away that you wouldn't basically know from the trailers or synopsis, so don't worry about getting the movie spoiled in here.
Now that I'm done explaining what's going on, in with the review!
When you see the very first minute of this movie, you'll know you're in for something special. The opening credits are just special, and probably never did a movie do something like it.
After that though, the first half of the movie begins in the present day, but we learn about Deadpool's alter ego which is Wade Wilson (played by Ryan Reynolds), and his origin through various flashbacks, which in theory can divide people. Flashbacks are very tricky, and if they are mishandled or mistreated they will easily backfire and blow up the movie, or they'll make it a lot better. In the case of this movie, it made it A LOT better!
In the flashbacks, we see how he interacts with his friend Weasel (played by T.J. Miller), and they just lay down the foundation for this friendship, and while this is going on, enter Vanessa (played by Morenca Baccarin). The romance that happens between Wade and Vanessa is just perfect. You see them on the screen and how they talk to each other and it just works! You completely buy the love story as an actual love story within a comic-book/action movie, which is a huge credit for the screenwriters. On that note though, the script was brilliant. Just like I mentioned, there is a romance in the movie, there's the origin story that also flowed great throughout the flashbacks, and there's also a revenge story which was handled amazingly.
Briefly, Deadpool wants to kill Ajax/Francis (played by Ed Skrein) and his assistant/sidekick Angel Dust (played by Gina Carano) for something that they did to him in the past, so you get the motivation behind what he's doing, and from the flashbacks and his past, you get why he's doing it the way he does.
The action in this movie is just phenomenal. There's no shaky cam at all, and there isn't stupid and fast jump cuts every single second. When the action is happening, you see it and you know what's going on, which is something that is apparently lost in most action movies today.
The acting was also great. I haven't really seen any miscast or out of place actors, and they all did a really good job portraying the characters that they had, especially Stefan Kapicic who voiced Colossus and Brianna Hildebrand who played Negasonic Teenage Warhead. They really didn't need to do much, but when you see them in action you just can't imagine the movie without them. Now, on the subject of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, he's so perfect as the character. You feel like he's born to do this role. He also does most of the stunt work himself, so props to him for that!
The directing of the movie by Tim Miller is obviously wonderful. Also noted, this is the first big motion picture that he directs, how is that? The movie seriously was just overall well made, good looking, and really fast paced, there wasn't any scene in which I was bored, how would anyone expect that from a first time director?
One of the things that also make this movie great, is that Deadpool knows that he is in a movie, so even the people you wanted to cameo in this movie are included in this movie from Deadpool talking about them or referencing them somehow. The one cameo that you'd expect though in a Marvel movie is Stan Lee, and man that guy just dominates whenever he's on screen.
On that note, yes, since he know he's in a movie, there's a lot of 4th wall breaking, and a lot of references to the culture we live in and to Ryan Reynolds himself. There's also a lot of jabs to Twentieth Century Fox and to superhero movies in general.
The R rating for the movie is well deserved. It's not a movie who was shooting for PG-13 and it got a little out of hand, nope. They went with the R rating all the way, whether it's violence/blood/gore, sex and nudity, or profanity. They just went all out with script, and as Deadpool fan myself, I extremely appreciate that. DO NOT take your kids to see this movie, just don't! No matter what kind of kid he or she is, they will not like most of it and it will be a very bad influence. It's not your average comic-book movie, that rating is there for a reason.
Also, I rarely say this, but I saw the movie twice. The first time was in IMAX and the second time was in a regular movie theater, and I just have to recommend the IMAX because it was just a much better quality both audibly and visually, so give it a chance if you can.
Guys the movie just blew me away, and it seriously set the bar very high for upcoming comic-book and superhero movies, because overall I'm rating this movie 10/10! I'm kinda bias though, because I'm a fan like I mentioned, and I also got all or almost all the references and the jokes in the movie, so if you're not a fan, it's a very well made, funny, and good looking action comic-book movie, and for you the rating would be 9/10.
*Update* stay after the movie ends. The closing credits are extremely fun, and there's also a post-credit scene that was so Deadpool-ish!
I cannot praise this movie enough guys, so if you're an adult or in your late teenage years and looking for a fun movie this weekend, go see Deadpool.
Quick reviews:
- Zoolander 2 was okay. It's not just a cash grab. You can tell people actually sat down and wanted to do a good sequel to Zoolander, and they did. Only problem is, if you didn't like Zoolander you most likely won't like this one. Check it out if you're a fan of the first movie or if you're looking for a shut-down your brain comedy.
- How to be Single, I haven't seen it yet, but I'll post an update here the moment I do to let you know how was it. In case it was actually as good as Deadpool, I'll make a review just for it.
*Update* I saw the movie and no, just no. The movie was such a valentine's day cliche and it just didn't work at all. There are only two actors that really shined in this movie which were Dakota Johnson and Jason Mantzoukas. Rebel Wilson played Rebel Wilson, and Leslie Mann was functional. For a feminist movie it wasn't really feminist either, so I don't know where they were going with that. The movie lost its identity constantly throughout and it just wasn't good overall. I wouldn't recommend seeing it unless you absolutely have to.
What about you? Are you going to see Deadpool this weekend? Or have you already seen it? What did you think about it if you did? Or are you going to see another movie? Let me know in the comments below, and if you like this, share it with your friends! ☺

Final Batman v Superman Trailer Review/Breakdown
Rumors have been going around for about a month now (since the Dawn of the Justice League CW special event) that there's going to be a new Batman v Superman trailer. People were divided whether they actually need one or not after the not-so-good and arguably too-revealing last trailer, and I for the most part, didn't really want one. Frankly not for anything other than I'm already convinced since day 1 that this movie is going to be awesome and I don't really need any more persuasion. However, the moment I saw that that the trailer just dropped, I didn't hesitate once to check it out. Now that I checked it, I am extremely satisfied and not regretting anything at all, so let's talk about this!
I'm mainly going to talk about the new footage that this trailer provides, so there's a little chance that I'll talk about the old scenes and shots we've seen before.
When Batman gets out of the Batwing though, Alfred takes a step back and it's Batsy's time to shine, and man did he shine. The moment he gets into that building we know that these people are gonna end up regretting going wrong with their lives, but I guess they didn't know that. We see Batman just kicking, punching, flipping, disarming, and putting people's heads through boxes, walls, and floor (jack up the bass while watching this scene, you'll feel sorry for them).
Something really quick that I have to mention. The music in this trailer is from the actual soundtrack and score of the movie brought to us by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. This is the 3rd preview of it so to speak, but the first preview is one that they released a while back. Here's Preview 1 and Preview 2 if you haven't heard them, they're pretty cool.
I'm mainly going to talk about the new footage that this trailer provides, so there's a little chance that I'll talk about the old scenes and shots we've seen before.
So for the first 30 seconds or so, the trailer focuses on Bruce Wayne, and specifically what he does at night. We see that Alfred is talking to him while piloting the Batwing and overall helping him out in the field in his own way. Have we ever seen this before? The closest we've got to more-that-just-a-regular-butler Alfred was with Michael Caine, and while he did a phenomenal job, he didn't really help Bruce/Batman out with things other than advises, concerns, or that one time when he lifted that log of wood that trapped Bruce down in Batman Begins. With this Alfred though, we see that he's heavily helping him with field tasks such as thermal scan to the building, and piloting the Batwing. Batman ain't got time for that!
As if Batman's gonna show up at the front door. Idiots. |
So not only is this the black and gray suit we've always wanted,
but it's also knife-proof? Snyder, just take my money!
|
Guillermo Grispo, the fight choreographer and stunts director for the movie said in an interview before that we are going to see Batman fight in a way no one has seen before on the big screen, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't lying. While I do like Christian Bale's Batman, his fights always consisted of 2 or 3 moves that he mixed and matched over and over, and this is completely different obviously.
That being said though, if this is the only scene where Batman if fighting people other than Superman, it's a really bad choice for DC/WB to give it away in a trailer.
"Even you are too old to die young, not for lack of trying", well hello there classic sarcastic Alfred that we all love!
After that there's a few shots and footage that we've already seen before, but after Luthor finishes his line, we're shown new footage again! It's mainly Batman fighting Superman, so we see Superman taking Batman in his power suit and flying him through a building. I have to say just a quick thing though about Superman; for a man/alien who's trying to convince the government and Batman that him destroying the city and its buildings wasn't his fault, he's doing an extremely lousy job. Now that this is out of the way, I'll continue with the trailer.
There's a quick shot of Batman again fighting the gang, but this time he's using his Batarang to disarm the guy's gun. It reminds me so much of the Arkham games because it's probably the only media where this move is most famous.
Batman fires a gun at superman, and the bullet looks rubber-ish, but then I remembered that the only gun that Batman has in this movie is a grenade launcher, so, I'm sorry Superman, but this is probably gonna hurt in a second.
More Batman fighting Superman. Superman stops his kick then punches him and bla bla bla. Then, finally, for the first time, the very first time and we're just a month away from the movie and over a year after the first teaser trailer hitting us, we hear Diana Prince/Wonder Woman talk. For anyone who still doesn't buy her as a character, there are two reasons: something's wrong with you, or you don't know who this character is. First of all, Gadot seems to be doing a great job hiding her accent, because her English is heavily affected by her native language. If you heard her in any interviews or seen her in other movies (Fast 4 and Furious 5 are her most known works) you'll hear that she definitely has a different accent in here. We see in the next shot her as Wonder Woman behind her shield, then taking a leap to attack someone/something/supposedly Doomsday/Something that doesn't look like anything other than Doomsday.
Did you see how Superman just pushed Batman away about 20 feet without breaking a sweat? Cause that was rad!
Did you see how Superman just pushed Batman away about 20 feet without breaking a sweat? Cause that was rad!
A bunch of old footage again appears, but then, this happens.
DARK SEID IS COMING, you know, eventually. Sooner or later |
The other photo that was of and in this same setting didn't show much other than the Omega sign (hinting Darkseid) and Batman looking at the horizon. In the trailer though, this is the whole shot that we see, and this is clearly not just some desert, this is definitely Apokolips, which confirms more that this isn't a nightmare, it's a vision that Batman is seeing for some reason, or Darkseif is sending it to him, who knows?
And then, the money shot of money shots! And at this moment, Superman knew he was f-ed |
Okay so for all of you who were doubting Batman and questioning how can he possibly defeat Superman or saying that Batman doesn't have any superpowers, he'll be dead in a second or whatnot, I hope this shot proved you wrong. See, Batman does have a superpower, it's called a brain (and an enormous wealth, but mostly the brain). He knows that he can't possibly defeat Superman with his regular crime-fighting suit, that's why he is wearing this one! Now, Zack Snyder, the director of the movie, said that the suit is mainly to defend Batman from Superman more than it is for attacking him, and we can clearly see that here and in an earlier very brief and quick shot in the trailer, so my question is what is Batman's strategy to win the fight, or at least have the upper hand? Cause even with the suit he can't knock Superman completely down, so I guess we'll find out when we see the movie, and oh my God I'm so excited!!

Thoughts on the Batman v Superman/Turkish Airlines ads
I wanted to talk about this on Sunday, but when I started looking through the 2 TV spots (they're more of ads than trailers imo), I didn't really find much to talk about. However, someone just told me that he'd like to know my opinion about them so here you go!
Gonna start with the Fly to Gotham ad first
So the ad starts with a Turkish Airlines plane flying over Gotham, because it's technically their ad. but it's a beneficial and mutual partnership between them and DC/WB, meaning that they both get something from it. After that, we get to see a couple of buildings during daylight, and then every other scene after than except for just one happens during the night.
We get our first look at how the bat signal actually looks on the clouds when it's turned on. From how it moves and integrates with the clouds, it looks pretty cool!
Again, the ad starts with a shot of a Turkish Airlines plane (shocking). Then we get a look of how Metropolis now looks after all the destruction that happened in Man of Steel.
After that, we see Superman's statue, and a very cool shot from the point of view of someone in the street seeing him fly.
We get to see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor saying more than one sentence finally, and here's my problem with it. Eisenberg is probably my most feared feature about this movie, because he doesn't really look like the traditional Lex Luthor that we know and love (not sure really if love is right word, but at least we love to hate him). And unlike all his appearances in the trailers and his lines, he appears here like a confident and know-it-all Lex, which is what Lex is all about, so I'm really confused and still not really sure about his performance, but I'm hoping he'll prove me wrong.
Two quick things I had to add just for the sake of telling you everything I know. In trailer 4, which is just an exact copy of trailer 2 except one scene. In that one scene, you see Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman riding a plane, and it's a Turkish Airlines plane (again, shocking).

After that, we get to see a couple of buildings during daylight, and then every other scene after than except for just one happens during the night.
One of the buildings we see in the night is Ace Chemicals. Briefly, AC is the building in which the Joker as we know him today is born. This is where his skin was bleached, his lips turned red, and his hair turned green. There are also two buildings on the left that have the 2 colors green and purple glowing up. If you haven't ever noticed, the most famous Joker attire always somehow contains green and purple, so it's not just a cool shot of the building, it's a pretty good homage and an Easter egg.
Immediately the next shot, we see Bruce Wayne talking about how Gotham is not better than before and "restored to its former glory", which begs the question, what happened to it that it lost this glory? Wayne is old now, and he has been in Gotham as both Wayne and Batman for a long time, so it can't be the crime. Zack Snyder said before that Gotham and Metropolis were sister cities, meaning that they're only a couple or a few miles away from each other. Also, earlier in the trailer, we also see a bunch of buildings being constructed/fixed. The only thing I can gather from this (if this actually means anything and isn't just a coincidence) is that Superman destroyed a few buildings from Gotham as well when he was fighting Zod in Man of Steel.
We see, after that, the old opera house, next to which Bruce's parents were murdered. Then there are a couple of scenes of the nightlife in Gotham City which include a shot of Bruce looking at the skyline of the city and its lit buildings.
Ace Chemicals makes another appearance, interesting. |
In your face, Supes! The Bat is not dead! |
That's pretty much what I noticed about the Fly to Gotham ad. Now, let's get into Fly to Metropolis!
Again, the ad starts with a shot of a Turkish Airlines plane (shocking). Then we get a look of how Metropolis now looks after all the destruction that happened in Man of Steel.
Nothing really worth mentioning about this shot, except that this tall building on the right is LexCorp |
Then we see a few shots of how the lifestyle in Metropolis is going now. The voice over mentions that the city is now "reborn, rebuilt", which makes complete sense considering how great it looks now that the buildings are going upwards and each one is in one piece. We see the rebuilt Daily Planet building, which is unlike the destroyed one in Man of Steel does not have the globe on top of it for some reason.
After that, we see Superman's statue, and a very cool shot from the point of view of someone in the street seeing him fly.
We get to see Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor saying more than one sentence finally, and here's my problem with it. That's pretty much everything that is there to be said about these two ads, except that one badass wide shot that was in the end of both ads. While it's not really much of anything, it's just eye candy for every Batman and Superman fan to finally see them in the same movie and facing each other.
The other thing that I have to add is that on the website of Turkish Airlines, they added 2 specific pages, one for each city. In these pages, you can see the maps for both Gotham City and Metropolis. I'll insert the maps and put the websites in their caption.
Gotham City as it is in the DCEU |
Metropolis as it is in the DCEU |
What about you? Did you like these ads? Did I miss something? And here's a cool question for you; if you can live in either Gotham City or Metropolis, which one would you choose? Let me know in the comments below, and if you like this, share it with your friends! ☺

X-Men: Apocalypse Super Bowl TV Spot Review/Breakdown
A hero without a a villain is just a normal guy, don't you guys agree? That's why when there's a movie about a hero versus a villain, they have to have at least one way to show you how bad and dangerous the villain is, and that's what the X-Men: Apocalypse TV spot just does.
In the trailer, they show you just how much destruction Apocalypse can do in order to live up to his name, and this is a huge plus to a superhero and especially X-Men fans, cause the franchise has been around for over a decade and a half now, and the main team is pretty much the same, so what changed? Answer: Apocalypse!
In less than 30 seconds, they show you why he's called that, that he is indeed the first mutant in this world, and the most dangerous of them all. You see him either destroying buildings, cars, or bridges to the point where the destruction in Man of Steel seems like a recreation. You also get to see his 4 horsemen: Magneto, Psylocke, Angel, and Storm, and all the destruction/damage that they're doing under his control.
Things I noticed, liked, or hated in this trailer:
- Jennifer Lawrence appears as the actual Mystique in this trailer, that's relieving. The reason I'm saying this is because in the 1st trailer, we always saw JLaw as Raven, not as Mystique, which was concerning to me and many other fans. In this trailer, however, we saw her once (still not a lot, but it's something I guess) as Mystique, so I hope most of her appearances in the movie is as mutant-her and not her human-her (you get my point, right? Cool).
- Psylocke is just badass! I'll admit it, she's one of the X-Men comics that I had *cough* and still have *cough* a crush on. She's new in the X-Men cinematic universe, and from what I'm seeing, I'm glad they're doing the character justice in terms of looks and abilities.
It might be Nightcrawler, but I'm not sure though as it was from his back, and that he creates more of a smoke effect than dust.
What about you guys? Are you excited for this movie? And what did you think of the trailer? Did I miss something? Let me know in the comments below, and if you like this, share it with your friends! ☺

Things I noticed, liked, or hated in this trailer:
- We never really had a proper look at Apocalypse since Comic Con. Even in the 1st trailer they always faded to black before we got to see his face except that one time at the end, but even then we didn't really see him from a good angle. In this trailer though, they offered a bit better look at him in 2 different scenes yet from the same angle (kinda).
Poe Dameron chocking Katniss Everdeen: A visual representation on how Star Wars TFA screwed THG Mockingjay's Box Office |
I don't know if it's only me, but I don't see Oscar Isaac at all in these scenes, which completely works for me. Isaac always had that kind and likable face, so it was hard at first to imagine him as Apocalypse. Him and the makeup team proved me wrong though. Last time that happened was with Ralph Fiennes when he portrayed He who must not be named.

The reason I'm saying this is because in the 1st trailer, we always saw JLaw as Raven, not as Mystique, which was concerning to me and many other fans. - This is not something that I hated, but it just got me like Huh??
In less than a second in the trailer, we see Angel fighting Beast (I gathered it was Beast from his back and his hair, not 100% sure though), and then when Angel hit him, he disappeared into thin air.
The trailer just looks pretty awesome, and I can't wait to see this movie in just 3 months!!
